Dana Scharien is a multidisciplinary artist, actor, musician, writer, & life-long learner, hailing from just beyond the borders of Calgary, AB, Canada.
Growing up, Dana spent much time taking part in music classes, singing lessons, dance competitions, spelling bees, and writing contests, until the age of 16, when she moved to French-Speaking Belgium as an exchange student, igniting their passion for travel & language.
Dana returned to Alberta to finish high school, landed their first minor TV role, and lead her senior prom as Master of Ceremonies, before accepting admission to the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, BC, Canada). Now, at age 22, she is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts as an Interdisciplinary Studies major, a degree which caters to her multitude of interests & talents.
In her (limited) spare time, Dana enjoys playing guitar, meditating, and writing everything from lyrics to laundry lists. Teaching English as a second language, landing a principal serial acting role, releasing music, and living on every continent remain dreams for the future, soon to be taken on.
